About Primary Care Research
General Practice holds a wealth of information that could be valuable to those conducting high-quality, ethical research which makes a difference to the future of patient care. We work with partners, including the National Institute of Healthcare Research, to help our practice become 'research ready and active'.
Our Research Nurses were appointed in 2024 and, as well as introducing research activities and education in community settings using RALPH, our community health vehicle, they have supported over half of our practices on their research journey so far.
