About ARI HubsOur seasonal ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) Hubs are designed to cope with the increased number of patients coming to General Practice with respiratory illnesses during the winter months. This service operates seven days a week to support our GP practices to provide appointments to patients as quickly as possible, and in locations where they are less likely to inadvertently spread infection. Patients can be booked in to see the service's GP by their own Practice, NHS 111, or the Urgent Care Centres, and thousands of appointments are provided every year. When our ARI Hubs were first launched in 2022, the service was designed to offer additional appointments for children, for whom acute respiratory infections can be particularly dangerous. In 2023, the ARI Hubs moved to new locations and we expanded the service to provide care for adults as well as children. |
Service StatusBecause the ARI Hubs are a seasonal service operating in the Winter months, they are currently CLOSED. This page will be updated when the service reopens. ARI Hubs
