About COVID-19 Vaccine Service

We set up our COVID-19 vaccination service on behalf of our PCNs, in order to support a smooth, rapid roll out of the life-saving vaccine across our area.

The service opened its doors in December 2020 and we have vaccinated over 100,000 people across more than 45 sites.

To make sure that people who often find healthcare hard to access were able to get their vaccines as easily as possible, we took our service into the community, providing clinics out of a number of locations, including the vaccine bus, two homeless shelters, and a local mosque.

We continue to be involved in the COVID-19 booster vaccination programme for people over 65 and those who are immunocompromised.
