About the Fellowship

The Tees Valley GPN Fellowship is a Tees Valley wide programme which supports Nurses who are new to practice, either because they are newly qualified or because they are transferring from another specialism, to navigate the start of their careers in Primary Care.

With guidance about the non-clinical aspects of being a GPN, delivered by local experts, and support from a dedicated team of mentors, the scheme aims to help Nurses make the best of their careers and to stay, live, and work in the Tees Valley.

History of the Fellowship

The Tees Valley GPN Fellowship was launched in 2023.

​Our team of Clinical Leads, who are all local GPNs themselves, designed the programme carefully to ensure that we are delivering high-quality training, based on local systems and services, that is both interesting and useful to people starting their careers.
